I installed the GT2 ducts recently and used this post as a reference.

I wanted to point out something I noticed which is inccorrect on the guide and caused me some headache when doing the installation.

First things is that the radiator spacers are installed incorrectly on the thread. If you would tighten up them like this, you would bend the radiator bracket. Also the spacing would be incorrect on the radiator. The correct way to install is the long section of the spacer will be installed torwards the radiator bracket and the short one behind the duct.

Incorrect orientation found on this thread:

Correct placement I made:

Other correction I noticed

The center duct is installed the wrong way around even though the thread says "Proper oriented center duct". I installed it looking by the below picture and was wondering why the bumper wouldnt fit in place. On the other pictures on this thread the center duct seems to oriented correctly.

Incorrect found on this thread:

Correct orientation found on this thread (you can see its different, here the duct is level with the radiator)

Also you dont need to buy this part:
996-505-531-30 Retaining

I ordered this from Porsche and ended getting the 996 Turbo part which had a section sawed off and the end of the part number was changed ending to 30. Great way from Porsche to convert to GT2 parts, but I could have sawed that part off myself for $60 instead of what I paid for the part

This is on my wish list for my turbo. Since this was started a few years ago, are parts still easy to find or are they hard and cost an arm and a leg? I'm coming over from the GTR space and parts for that car were ridiculously expense. I guess it didn't help that I was actually racing the car and going to weekend track events... lol.

So safe to say its about a 10k project. Sounds pricey but at the same time, something that is very doable over a year (to spread the costs out).
