996t Ecu flash/intake/exhaust vs z06??
#20
I believe around 1.5 bar with the appropriate fueling. The wastegate springs are set at 1 bar. The ECU controls it to go higher. With the water/meth installed I am supposed to get the high boost level normally. However, if I run out of meth or turn the meth off the system reverts to the "safe" tune of the wastegate spring only. That is how I understand it works.

My performance upgrades...
Evoms GT660 (older one with ball bearings GT2871)
Evoms 44.5mm header
Fabspeed Quiet
75mm plenum + 75mm TB + custom Y-pipe
Evoms Clubsports ICs
Evoms coil packs
Evoms light weight pulley
Evoms TCU upgrade to 7k rpm (Tip)
Wevo SS engine mount
PSS10s
The car dyno'd at 510hp to AWD before the TCU, coil packs, pulley, TB, Y-pipe (with a 70mm plenum) mods.

it depends...
[quote=Divexxtreme;3280122]It takes a skilled driver to extract all available acceleration from a Z06, even from a roll. Slow shifts, short shifts...they can all have an effect.
indeed. this is truth.
i would have loved to see this run, a new viper ACR is 600/600 and is a FAST car.

Vipers are like vette's, require skill to keep WOT, TALL TALL gears with alot of torque, i doubt 1.0 bar'd billet 16's pulled hard, and what speeds did you guys go to? THe car is geared to do way over 200 and is lighter than our 996's. Im hard pressed to believe this as I own a 996tt and my good friend has an 09 SRT 10
