loss of power

I submitted a thread several weeks ago about loss of power on boost and really appreciate the responses. It appears it is not a boost leak problem as there appear to be no leaks and boost gauge shows 1.0 bar(car is stock with the exception of EPl flash). The car has about 5,500 miles and the problem started about 300 miles after I had the flash done. When getting on power the car stutters and feels real flat above 3,500 - 4,000 rpm. It is now at the shop and we have replaced the plugs and the coil packs and have installed new audi diverter valves. Also no code has shown up. Disconnecting the wire to the MAF also made no difference. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

many failures are possible.

boost leak test at first....

if plugs, coils okay, no boost leak, then check fpr regulator and the hose on top, check fuel pressure...fuel pump,

after that you need durametric, check valves for valvetronic etc...datalog...afr left right, maf sensor!!

Exactly! 3,500-4K most likely your torque peak and that's where a fuel system show it's weakness

Please clarify one point. You say the car is in the shop at the moment and you have changed the plugs and coils. Be more specific. Did you change the plugs and coil packs before you took the car to the shop or whilst the car is in the shop.
Can you see where I'm coming from on this. If you have only just changed them whilst in the shop have you been out in the car yet and know for sure the problem is still there.

If you are still experiencing the same problem after all that, i would be checking your fuel pressure and delivery. Have you checked the fuel pump U pipe in the tank, its know to fail on just about every 996tt......its just a matter of time.

They need to pressure test (asked them to do this last week) and check the n249 control system (dv related).

This should be a very simple fix once they identify the issue!
I am really impressed with this customer service from an ECU tuner! Hope things get resolved!
