wheel spotting
just used a name brand tire and wheel cleaner and it spotted my rims, used a small amount of laqure thinner nothing wax cleaner still spottie but nit as bad any ideas , they look like water spots .. thanks

Do the wheels have a clear coat? If it ate the clear, you're hosed. You can try a polish like mothers and use a high speed buff to see if it helps. If it does not, you can look into sanding. However, if you're not experienced with sanding or polishing alloys, I would have a professional shop take care of it. Generally doesn't run more than $100 for a whole wheel.

Steve, I used some name brand cleaner that left huge spots on my Fikse lips -had to repolish each section as nothing else would take it off. What type of finish is on your wheels (painted, clear coat, polished?)
