h&r springs loose in the front

hi, can any one tell me or show a pic of your h&r lowering springs set up in the front with or without the helper springs and whether or not not having them makes a difference as to rattling when encountering rough road surfaces...mine are quite noisy and there are no helper springs there. i bought the car this way and can't get in touch with previous owner, for reasons that are now obvious to me...anyway, i'd really appreciate any help anyone can give me before i start blindly giving money to the dealer, thanks, kevin

find yourself a good indy mechanic, they will charge you less and will have a lot more experience with aftermarket mods

One possibility is that the noise you are hearing could be the springs themselves. If that is the case, the noise can be remedied but you have to take each spring off. There are some sleeves that can be installed over the bottom rungs of each spring that help quiet them down. This is what I was told when I asked what the sleeves were on the springs. I have techart springs that have these plastic sleeves on them and they make no noise.
