Which one would you turn into a dedicated track car...

Honestly, it depends on what level you plan on building the car. If you are talking about a few bolt-ons the C5Z is hands down winner.
However, the Viper has the most potential, it's significantly stronger built, I would choose the Viper because it has the strongest motor for building a road race vehicle and unless you plan to keep it stock the C5 Z06 motor is limited to about high 400's WHP unless you build a stroker. However the early SRT-10's have some oiling issues so that needs to be addressed, I don't think it's that expensive.
TT Cab is a NO NO.

Actually the Viper has the worst motor for mods. Starting with the 2004 gen 3 the dropped the forged rods and pistons. They also have small ring lands. All 3 are already modded to hell. The 996tt has Tial 3076's, the Viper a Paxton s/c, and the Vette twin turbos with lower compression truck heads. I agree the Vette is the way to go. I'll post pics as it progresses!

Also think about this...
Viper = Expensive to maintain, expensive to fix
Porsche = Expensive to maintain, expensive to fix, and a cab
Corvette = cheap to maintain, relatively inexpensive to fix
The corvette is the best choice of the 3.

With track tires, you can use more than you might think. My 600hp Supra was never a problem. It wouldn't have been much faster with another 100hp, but it could have been used.
