PV996TT was a bit faster. It has Techart 520 I think.

No stock Turbo around.

I think he was running about 500 hp (that's what he said ), but there was more if you squeezed up the "RUF Ladedrück"

Inside was stripped out.

0 - 200 km/h in approx. 10 secs.

0 - 250 km/h (155 mph) in approx. 15 secs.

Why oh why does the M5 have to be so FUGLY????

I love my E39 M5 but just cant get into the new one. Even If a body kit with fog lights make it look cooler, The inside is just disgusting.

josh.

I just got through watching 5th gear, Tiff sat as passenger with a 16 year old with his fathers Ruf Turbo. Great video, Is this the same car club?

According to the latest test of the M5, i think in Quattroute, it was not very fast.

Have to remember that it is a seadan, not a sports car. If its even with a 996TT and faster then a E55, being that it is Natrually aspired is pretty impressive to me.

You know, the look of the ugly new BMWs is growing on me. The M5 seems to be an impressive machine.

Didn't Gustav post a street race against an E55 on the M5 forum where he won pretty decisively?

just make sure you can brake in time, don't want to be going into the water like the old top gear "stig"
