My Billet 16 DYNO (by EPL)
#46
Tony told me he can tune the car to not have so much Torque. I want peak torque to be about equal to peak hp. About what the Switzer Billet 16 dyno looks like.
Although the top end of the A28 is alluring. I likes me some top end, but I want the car to drive more like NA so instant boost off the corners. At the hp I'm looking at, I doubt I'll see much of a difference on the top end most places.
I don't know, I've changed my mind 17001 times already, it could change a few more before I'm ready.

I have a few cars to play with and lots of things going on in my life. No offense taken.

I've seen comments like this in a couple of threads. What's so special about Tony's dyno? Isn't it a Mustang like many others that are around?

Mustang's like any other dynometer can be calibrated, so no dyno, even from the same manufacturer will read the same unless you don't calibrate it and leave it at the settings delivered by the manufacturer. Yet another reason why comparing numbers between different dynos is a waste of time. Always refer to the delta change which is the most important number. If you don't get a baseline done first, you have wasted your time on the dyno.

I have The k24/18gs,72 injectors and when Tony retuned my car on Kelly Moss's Mustang dyno,,,, he said I needed more fuel and to add another pump, which I did, so he could get more out of it...You have a great package and I would have thought with those good numbers you would have been out of fuel......Just trying to compare, thats all...thanks.....

More than likely I could benefit from it, I am sure Tony would agree with that. But...its not a necessity for me at this point

Just log your duty cycle at full tilt. That will tell you if need upgraded system.

Yep. My car had made over 600rwhp on Tony's dyno with 18g's, 1 stock fuel pump, 72lb'ers, stock airbox and meth...Not saying I would've gone further, but it was fine as it was. I would love to see 60-130 numbers too....
