My Billet 16 DYNO (by EPL)

Hello all,

Have held off posting these results for quite a while now, figured it would help those people whom are debating these turbos and similar set ups.

Special thanks to Tony @ EPL ( and Dave!) for all the work back and forth, absolutely stand up guy who has gone above and beyond to answer my multitudes of questions, really enjoyed coming up to the shop for the day and watching how these guys work.

Also thanks to Chris Green @ USP motorsports for all the help as well.

Mods on the car (that make power)

AMS billet k16 with 1 bar actuators
Bosch Motorsports Diverter Valves

believe it or not this car has STOCK intake, air filter, plenums. ect.

Car is a 2003, with about 10.2k miles on it when everything was installed.

540whp,621torque.....and it wasn't that cold out either.

The car is able to be driven any time and maintains stock-like driveability until you really get into the throttle, no issues with the kit except that I was hitting the torque limiter and it had to be raised to that of a larger turbo.

Really have enjoyed this kit over the last year and a half (or so) and put just over 1,200 miles on everything (sorry its a garage queen)

Thank you very much for posting. Been trying to dig up these results for some time

This was on 93 octane? Boost? I didn't see any of that info on the dyno chart.

Thanks!
Henry

one was pre the inlet pipes, also done in warmer weather, believe the temp was over 100 in the shop with humidity. 2nd was after the inlet pipes in the spring of the following year. they made an ENORMOUS difference. I hope Tony will chime in at some point and give some info. I need to post the full dyno, will do tomorrow, Prodigymb, I like your new turbos, may be going the same route over this winter.

When comparing the two graphs - are there any differences besides intake piping and air temps?

ie, any other mods done?

PS - Your car looks uber clean!

why would you hold off posting results?

can you explain what you mean by hitting the torque limits?

never got around to posting. Torque limiter was reached in the tune, I called Tony and in a second he changed my file, I reloaded and never had an issue again.

yeah I love them man. the spool is so quick and the top end just never stops pulling. i think this is the first time ever i do a power setup and i am a 100% satisfied with how fast it is and the power numbers. hopefully it doesnt rain today so i can try to play with the PBox

Yea I spoke with Tony about the tuning he did to your car, going to be going relatively the same route sooner rather than later. I just love the instant spool up with these billet 16's. The car is quick.
