transmission repair help

so i find that my transmission has been leaking fluid for the past 2 weeks, thought it might have been oil leak from drain plug, went for oil change, and when the car was up in the air, i could clearly see the lead was from the tranny, and mechanic said it was probably a head/gasket...but he doesnt touch transmissions.

my question is:
1. can someone recommend me a transmission repair shop to check it out and do necessary repairs. (burbank, glendale, pasadena)

2. cost to replace head gasket?

3.do most porsche repair shop send it out for repairs usually?

thanks in Advance to all the people with Crazy amount Knowledge on this Site!
you guys are amazing!
jeff-

Probably the rear main seal, but you need to take pictures and show us the leak.

You may have better luck with mechanic suggestions in the regional forum

This. If it's gearbox related they are experts. If it's the rear main on the engine, they can do that as well. Great group of people at their shop as well.
