My almost stock 996tt acceleration video and a question.
Just recorded this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGdUppQl_IY
Please have a look at my boost that seems to be all over the place. What do you guys think? Is there a problem?
I start to think I may not have a flash liek previous owner said.
Maybe I am getting 0.8-0.9 thanks to the exhaust and intake?
Thanks in advance for your opinions!

I think you have a boost leak. Firstly, you should have 1.2 bar initially, then the pressure should drop as speed increases to about 0.9 bar. Boost rolls off towards top speed. Your acceleration from 100-200km/h is a tad over 9 seconds. That’s about right for a stock car but as your boost shows 1,2 bar it appears you are flashed and should consequently be a second faster. On the other hand it could be a faulty readout by boost meter? What is your tune?

so your boost peak between shift`s came from the evo dv`s
your boost is like a X50.....if it is flashed it is little low should be 1bar...maybe fuel? It do not look for a boost leak for my understanding but no one knows that remotly...do you a favor and check als hoses for leaks or you can do a boost leak test...
with durametric analyse requested boost vs. actual boost....and you can see what your ECU try to achieve

My mechanic keeps telling me if there is no oil residue visible on piping then there is no leak, but maybe there is a small leak that is hard to notice without a proper test, I don't know. I only get small oil film at my F-pipe but we took it off twice and see no damage at all.
Can I do the test starting from MAF pipe? Will I hear the leak? Won't air just dissapear through turbos then?

The 1.2 visible in my vid is after I let go gas pedal, so it is not a real boost value.

Exactly same case here, Softronic flash, max only seen 0.9, let off gas pedal seen spike 1.2, wastegate replaced but not seen improvement, probably a leak but I have no idea where can I find a smoke leak test in my place

Some of the original flashes were only .9 bar - before it was learned you could go higher without problems...so if it's an older flash, that could be what it is...
What brand is the flash?

Mine is softronic, Scott told and verify I should have more boost. I just did my flash couple weeks ago.
