Proper Japanese interpretation of the 'Kanji' 漢字 , of Japanese logographic Chinese characters 'Hanzi' 汉字/漢字 , which in turn, compounded with the name, represents the motorcycle named 'Hayabusa', means to STRIKE, EXCEEDINGLY FAST, WITHOUT CONQUEST!
The name has been associated with airplanes, unmanned spacecraft, trains, a certain famous wrestler and now (since 1999) the Kanji is associated and used in concert with the name of the motorcycle.
The name Hayabusa, nor the Kanji itself, do NOT mean, nor are properly translated into 'Peregrine Falcon' like so many have inaccurately suggested and recorded. This information is false Americanized bravado.

Mine doesn't mean squat. A long time ago I was building a deck on my house when I needed a nickname for this new thing called internet email. I've retired that moniker recently and prefer my name.
