Bill, DP didn't create anything. Taylor simply posted up a time for sh*ts and giggles, and it happened to be better than a few other people, some of them with UGR cars, that happened to already be on the list (except for the first two). With UGR customers spending several hundred thousand dollars on their cars, I have no doubt that money can make anything possible. This is not an issue of UGR not being able to break a record, just the current equation doesn't make sense, to me. You honestly can't be surprised that I'm questioning it, can you? I now look forward to seeing Kevin do it in October though.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, one of your cars trapped 16 mph more than Mullet's car at TI. I'm sure your car could break a few records itself, if you ever wanted to strap a vBox on it.

Maul59 seems like an intelligent person, at least from what I have read over the years. So why would he take your bet?? Of course he would not. Hell, I am sure even DP would advise him not to.

Bottom line is that you should not over analyze these 60-130 and 100-150 numbers in respect to the conditions in which they were achieved.. There are a lot of variables like already posted to these 60-130, 100-150 numbers. The only thing that is a fact is that UGR would wipe the floor with their car(s) against any other Lambo tuner, including DP. If you think other wise, I am more than certain Kevin and DP can set something up for the upcoming TI event.

 

I'm sure a high power Heffner or DP Gallardo is capable of winning a King of the streets event and beating some UR cars. Even if they don't make as much power, you don't need the most power to win that event. Its all about the hit, driver and decent traction.

 

I guess anything is possible.
