Are tiptronic S and X-50 a rare combination?
I have been looking for a while and have not been able to find one? What is the first model year Porsche started offering the tip and X-50 pack together? Any recommendations? Is this combination to hard to find to bother looking for? TIA

X50s have been offered with Tips from the introduction of the X50 package: http://www3.us.porsche.com/english/u...2/leistung.htm .

all of mine.
It seems, IMHO, that people aren't turning over X-50 cars like the non X-50. It could be that there doesn't appear to be too much of a premium paid for X-50 cars and it's just too painful to take that big of a hit on the depreciation.

The X50 package was initially limited by Porsche, such that only a small portion of TTs sold had it. Beginning with MY03, X50s were an available option for anyone purchasing a TT. Therefore, there are undoubtedly many more 03 and 04 X50s that 02 X50s.
