Is that a factory finish or has anyone had them painted? I just picked up a set and want to have the backs painted white to match my car. Did you use porsche paint or are there other options. TIA.

I am curious on this answer when/if I pick up some race buckets. I'd likely have the backs painted Carrera white.

The painting is not the issue. Its taking the seat apart thats a PIA. I think Eric at Bumperplugs paints them.

Any autobody supply shop can supply the paint. Also you should be able to get it in your choice of paint type. Single stage polyU enamel, 2 stage base/clear, possibly others.
