Looking for a higher RPM gauge for a 996tt

Does anyone have a source for someone who can make a higher reading rpm gauge for a 996tt? I would like to use the same stock set up (location, face size).

What's your view on Autometer? I have an pillar mounted boost gauge of thiers in my suburban which seems to work well. I'm not sure if they do what you need.

I dont know how well a CGT one will work considering its for a V-10.

Anyway, Chad, North Hollywood Speedometer does a lot of work on the older 911 gauges and I highly recommend them as a starting point at the very least.

Im just going by the last time I installed a tach (autometer) one wire read how many times a second the spark plug was energized so you had to make sure the tach was set for the right number of cylinders. Factory ones might just get input from the ecu. I am no expert.

We would like it to read 10K. We currently have a SPA digital mounted on the column wihich works abeit a bit small. The OEM one in the cluster needs to be changed, modified or ? as it will constantly be pegged.
