I think those no. are pretty impressive for a non turbo or GT2/3 model.

0-100 & 0-200 are pretty much the same as the 993tt and very close to 996tt.

these are NOT the real test numbers.
here are the official numbers, as tested by sportauto online and fresh from the magazine:

P.S. The car was tested with Pirellis NOT Michelins this time, they had certain problems with the Pirellis, esp. in the wet.
Looks like it´s better to go with the good ol`Michelins!

NS: 7:44 min. (as fast as Turbo S, 3 sec. faster than 997.1 GT3 RS, only 4 sec. slower than 997.2 GT3 on Cup-tyres.)
Hockenheim: 1:10,4 min. (as fast as 997.2 GT3 on semi-slicks, 3 (!) seconds faster than 997.2 S PDK, 0.4 seconds faster than 458 Italia)
0 auf 100km/h (62mph): 4.2sec.
0 auf 200km/h (124mph): 14,1sec.
Braking 100-0 km/h cold/warm: 33,8 m (1,16 g) / 33,5 m (1,17 g)
Braking 200-0 km/h warm: 131,6 m (1,19 g)
36 m slalom: 139 km/h
110 m ISO evasive test: 156 km/h (997.2 GT3: 160 km/h)
Top Speed: 302 km/h (188mph)

Yes mate but they weigh 2 tones. 991 is apparently as light as our cars. ;-).

Yes the 2012 boss mustang 302 for example with 444HP is 3631lbs. Not much more weight than our cars, and nearly 100 cubic inches larger. So then Porsche has done a good job if their cars are lighter and as powerful with less. HP/unit displacement on a Porsche is outstanding! It's pathetic that American cars can only get 450-500HP out of these V8's!! Can u imagine what Porsche could do if they spent last 60years massaging V8's?

The new 911 has really impressed me with its track times. This is an NA Porsche, there shouldn't be much expected in straight line accel except for the pdk launch. But this thing has mad handling!

I would like to see these numbers re-tested. I think that some wrong (possibly) info is being set out to the people. I have driven Hockenheim on many occasions and simply cannot imagine a 991CS being faster than an Italia. It simply isn't possible. These Sportauto times have been causing huge discussions all over.
