Im realy on the fence now, i dont want it to look messy but i have just brought an original gemballa decklid ( still hydraulic ) and this bumper would look the dogs danglies with that i think. Hmmm

For me, I couldn't do Fiberglass. That's why I got rid of 2 different bumpers. I felt as if I had to drive on tippy toes. With PU you still have to be cautious because of clearance but I felt peace of mind. With PU all you might have to worry about is a new lip. There plenty of people on here that do just fine though. Remember it's the first point of impact.

This is the way I think about it... whether it's a PU or FG bumper, if I hit something, the paint will be damaged and the bumper will either crack (FG) or crease (PU). Either way, it needs to be fixed and like my comment above, it's easier to fix FG.
Also, I've seen some aftermarket PU bumpers that are so heavy, they start to sag over time. Both bumpers have their +/-'s and most people will prefer a PU bumper but I def wouldn't mind a FG bumper.
