Easycare covers brand new Hydraulic win actuator system
Back in 2006, when my car's factory warranty was running out I paid $1800 for a 6 year ( 6 years from inception or until the car was 10 years old), 60,000 mile Easycare warranty.
While the warranty is about to run out, I have to say that the have been FANTASTIC to deal with. They have always paid and quickly. I can't recommend Easycare enough!
So far they have covered all the usual issues associated with these cars that my car has suffered:
Broken ignition switch
$1,000 to "fix" the wing hydraulics (2 years ago)
Clutch slave
$1,800 to replace the entire wing hydraulics system (this week)

It's very easy to expect great service and only post negative experiences as negative experiences seem to be much more "motivating".
EasyCare is a great company that provides great service. In an industry that is riddled with cheesy companies that seem to be actively looking for reasons to deny claims, that is saying a LOT.
Thank You EasyCare!

0396- That sounds about right. I paid about $3300 about 3 months ago through another dealer in Torrance. If I remember, the price was better through the dealer; but I shopped around a few dealers.

Don't forget that I purchased this warranty 6 years ago. Prices have definitely gone up in that time. Additionally, I got no profit deal from a family member in the business. In general, warranties do provide the salesperson (usually the fiance manager doing your paperwork and selling you service plans, warranties, etc...) an opportunity for pretty big margins. I would expect that you can get at least 30% off with some aggressive haggling. There is a lot of commission in these products for the people selling them.
I guess the point isn't how much I paid, but that they step up when you need them.

Thanks for your input!
I just bought a 2003 996tt x50 and the dealer sold me at cost Easycare biggest coverage plan (TotalCare if I'm not mistaken). Cost me 3000$ for 30months and 50,000km extra km. Prices would go up significantly as I added years of coverage...
Thinking back on it, I should have taken the longest coverage available. Oh well, I'm covered for next 30months...
