Track Tire and Caliper Data

I have nearly 500 more lbs and I am at 600+hp. What are you at? That is why I am stressing my brakes so much, big speed (squared) adnd big weight. I would love to see your pics of your cooling ducts and how you are delivering air to the caliper.

Tim,
I'll take some pics later this week when I'm back at the shop. I simply ran a 2" hose from the front under the car adjacent to the GT3 deflectors toward the rotor and zip tied it all into place. I'll let you know if I think it's effective over time as I only have one weekend on the new rotors. My HP is not as high as you and yes I do have less lbs.
When I was running close to your setup I ran Pagid Orange in the front and black in the rear. Maybe you're generating too much heat from the high torque blacks and with the additional increased size of the rotor and caliper?
I do remember my car going into the ABS prematurely with 01 PFC's up front and 97's in the rear so that's when I began to experiment with less agressive front pads. The balance under threshold braking got much better when dialing some front bias out. I rarely ever experienced the ABS coming on prematurely after that.
Maybe consider a pad change in addition to your cooling ducts. Either '01/02 in the rear and '97's up front or Blacks in the rear and yellow or oranges in the front.
Have you increased your rear rotor and caliper size as well to keep your stock bias balanced?

The 600+ hp is the killer as the higher speeds I generate are squared (1/2 m v^2), and the higher mass is just the blowtorch on the cake. I didn't have any trouble at BlackHawk and I though I would, but I will work on my cooling a little more. Now that I am going to R-comound, I may be in trouble all over again.
I haven't had any obvious bias issues and this is precisely one of StoTech's claims that they improve the bias. I will see with more testing. I was considering trying grays in the back but I am worried I may not get them up to temp to work better back there and see if I can move more bias back. I think I may do some video testing and look for lock-up at the different wheels.
