If your primary intent is weekend on the roads, Turbo is the way to go. Fast out of the box but has huge potential if you want to modify. GT3 power is loaded at the top end, a great track car if that is your intent. Otherwise not much opportunity for engine power mods.
thanks.
Ferrari of Denver has this 04 GT3 for $57k. Is it worth stretching my budget a bit to consider this one? Any red flags you can see here?

Anyway, sounds like a legit option.

There are so many stock Porsches out there, for every taste and budget

My vote goes to the 996tt but of course I'm biased. I put a lot of research in back when I bought and couldn't find a better car for the money. It is the biggest bang for the buck power wise and reliable all day long and easily modifiable to huge power. The 996 GT3 would be a great buy as well and has the same GT1 engine as the 996tt. Plus the GT3 is a collectable and will likely only increase in value with time now. All depends on your taste. Lots of older Porsches in your budget as well

You might want to look at this one as it's special and may fit your needs
