New Owner of a Porsche 996 GT2

Nice gt2 ... Lovely color and wheels, I too echo the statements above regarding the steering wheel. I would have the car checked thoroughly and the chassis measured as one person pointed out an incorrect steering wheel can be indication of prior air bag deployment. I'm not buying that the owner frivolously swapped wheels on the gt2 and if they had why would the go for a boxter wheel rather than say an aftermarket suede 330 mm d-ring. Just doesn't make sense to me and I've been around a ton of gt2 and turbos and have never seen a swap like this. It would concern me enough for a thorough investigation at the very least.

All, thanks for the inputs... really valuable... i checked the car for any sign of frontal damage and doesnt seem to be the case... however, i'm going a friend of mine to have the car inspected underneath to see if we found something...

I just found out that the original owner (not previous) was also a forum member and there are some pics of the car under his profile...Tandujar passed away in 2009 and he was very known in the sport cars community in Puerto Rico... a true Porsche enthusiast from what i heard....
