What Brake Pads do you run for Daily Driving?

I'm using stock on the Turbo. I had stock on my '99 C2 Cab as well and the originals looked good at 61k miles when I sold it and easily could have gone another 5k miles.
I do drive my cars hard and aggressively in the canyons and at times on the street as well. I do not however brake excessively hard, but rather go in deep, maybe a quick tap on the brake and initiate a quick steering change while getting back on throttle.
I roadraced GSXRs for 8 years and drive my car the same way I race bikes. It's fun, it works for me. I'd rather be very smooth and learn to carry higher and higher cornering speeds rather than rely on heavy braking. Practicing enough, you'll find that you can scrub off a lot of speed just making a quick steering change negating the need for any braking at all.
Anyway, bottom line is pads and rotors are quite expensive and I can't see needlessly wasting them on the street. A race track is very different, either full throttle or heavy braking, anything else you're looking at someones butt.
Oh, and I see your scooter avatar. I used Ferodo pretty exclusively in motorcycle roadracing. EBC, SBS, Dunlopad and others didn't work as well.

They're made my the same group of companies, so they're essentially the same pad - Porsche obviously use a lot of them, so they get whatever the company has available at the time

Is anyone running EBC red stuff ceramic formula pads? In their advertisement they mention very low dust and better, quicker braking in daily driving situations than OEM. I'm mostly interested in the lower dust, but don't want to compromise stopping distances. They say they go up 13 meters over stock from 100 to 0. Hmmm, anyone using them and reviews? The reviews listed on auto parts warehouse are all 5 stars.
I read and see a lot about the ATE Super blue fluid for brakes. And then people switch it up with the ATE amber so they know they've bled it all out.

You do have to use more pedal pressure on the brakes for our cars -- especially if you're use to that initial grab. I'm not sure if it's designed that way, but I could imagine that the benefits of this are much more linear and controllable braking under high performance driving.
If you push hard enough, are you able to lock up the wheels (or have the ABS activate) on dry pavement?
