Ok first dyno results are 575 HP(Crank) and 880 NM (this is Massive) Sportec inform though that my FUEL MAPPING IS WAY OFF, something I have genuinely previously noticed myself, far too rich sub 3.5K Rpm and far too lean above 3.5K Rpm.

Tony at EPL any comments please as I have your last 16K billet turbo tune, but I guess this is the problem of having a remote ECU upgrade. Sportec note they can improve all of this somewhat shortly

Odd. Is someone trying to hang a blow motor on the tuning.

Yes, lets be clear about this, the Blown Motor is NOT an EPL Issue. FACT.
Ok now we have got that out of the way, Tony re where we are now, though whilst you no doubt probably can help as the Sportec guys don't really do anything but German or Russian I don't see much value here. However, the fuel mapping is obviously a key component which was previously out on my TT and I simply put that down to my remote map. I would just not recommend this to anyone in future. The car probably needs to be on your dyno to get it right

there are "ready to go" tunes that are design with a particular turbo, particular injector size, inlet piping. those tune should not go lean if the hardware matches the tune. i agree that tony tuning on teh dyno is not quiet the same as remotely but, my first "startup/breakin" tunes were remote and they always had safe A/Fs. that actually leads me back to my first questions. What does Sportec consider a safe A/F ?

First of all, congrats on getting your car sorted on what seems to be record time. I agree with Mark. Any BASE tune that EPL will send out, will be a very safe tune..ie, a little rich, not a lot of timing, etc....you know...safe enough to drive to a dyno or start datalogging... I ASSUME where you are they are capable, but I HIGHLY recommend going to a facility that has the ability to tune and chassis dyno a car correctly. Tony needs to know EVERY single mod that is on that car to make a decent start file.

Sportec are talking about me potentially strengthening the 4 WD system to the front wheels, what are the options here please ? Driveshaft/Joints etc , I probably should have upgraded the Tiptronic too but this seems pretty resilient under high power and its too late for that now....

Ok so finally after 2.5 months, looking forward to getting my Sportec rebuilt TT back this week BUT with the ominous Swiss MFK on Feb 03 means that it will be with standard airbox and exhaust for at least the first 2 weeks, depending on whether it passes or not. I must say have been buzzing around in a VW Golf 1.4 FSI Turbo which is Sportec tuned so circa 220 BHP and it is notably 3X more economical than my TT was (but as noted it was running rich)
