Is it okay to run these sizes on our 996TT? Thanks.

 

I run Toyo R888s in those exact sizes on stock rims with no problems at all. The car is lowered as well.

 

I run a 245 front but the same in the rear. My rears were rubbing a bit so we rolled the fenders.

 

Thanks guys. It looks like I will be putting wider Michelin rubber on my rear stock rims.

 

Just revolutions/mile that you need to be concerned with if you are still 4WD. Which I know you are. When the 18g coming?

 

I had PSM issues with half worn 225 and new 315s. Having 235s installed in the front to match the rears better.

 

I run 235 and 315 combo to keep the size ratio correct.
I believe that is the best "upgrade" size to run for any TT that still have 4WD system.

 

HI,,Are those 245/40 /18 fronts?? If so did you need spacers??..I was thinking of putting that size on,up from my 235/40/18s with the stock 8'' rims.....Thanks....

 

235/40/18 is the correct match for your 315's. Not 225.

Darn.....that's what I was afraid of. I guess I will be ordering new 235/40 18 Michelins for the front.

As far as upgrading my turbos to the 18gs, I will be getting those when my daughter is on Spring Break. My 996tt is a daily driver and I don't feel like renting a car while my car is down for the turbo upgrade.
