Can I run with no O2 sensors? Just would be for a few days and nothing but around town driving. The exhaust I'm doing does not have sensor bungs on it yet. Obviously will get a CEL.

The ecu uses the wideband O2 sensor to check air:fuel ratio. No sensor means that your engine has no control at all. I guess that it would go into limp mode, but I wouldn't drive mine this way, unless I had to go to the emergency room.

ME7.8 relies on the Pre-Cat O2's. They are true widebands just like the Audi/VW/BMW/etc. use. Usually when an o2 dies on both a wideband/narrowband setup they do not stop reading completely they just start to read slower and slower... You've been around cars with a failing front o2 (narrowband style) before I assume, where it will not idle for crap or drive for crap. Multiply that by like 5 because these cars cannot even really truely run Speed Density like other cars can.

Well.. Figured this may be the result. il just have to get these bungs done first then. No big deal, just would have made a couple of things easy. Sometimes doesn't work like that. Thanks for help guys.
