and this has to be one of my better technical explanations i must admit.
what about the other regular holes in the rotors ?
I would say measure the gouge and see if it gets bigger while street driven but I would definately not track on this rotor.
Now where is my joint ?

the holes are too small to affect the brake pad.
do u smoke too ?
i would make a thread to see how many 6speeders smoked. i bet it would be a high (no pun intended) number.

Yes i do but at the time of making that post, i wasn't smoking though..could have been the Holiday Inn Express where i was staying at the time

And with that analogy the wheel that is going to run over that pothole is as wide as a steam roller barrel.

By Porsches own criteria chips are aloud. I myself would dress it and run the rotor so long as there is not delamination around the chip. The integrity of the ceramic rotors is very good.

If it was mine I would have no problems running it that way.

the wheel is round. the brake pad has an edge.

allow me a few hours until i get to my hotel to light up another blunt to reply in more detail.
