Metal Inserts in 996 OEM Wing Blade

Quick question, can one buy these 2 screw in metal inserts in the OEM rear wing blade, which clamp onto the hydraulic pistons as separate parts ??

I tried to do that a couple of years ago and had absolutely no luck. Tried everyone from dealers to dismantlers. No one would sell the inserts separately. Finally had a machinist buddy custom make me 2 inserts.

I didn't realize these were removable. At least on my OEM wing, they looked well embedded -- but I probably didn't look carefully enough.

Yea, no part numbers for those things. I think you have to buy the entire rear wing from Porsche (3 grand from the dealer) to get them.

But wait -- It must be available somewhere. I recently purchased the GT2 Add On wing from Misha and it had the inserts in the wing. So, either they made their own (which maybe one can also get), or the part is obtainable.

Interesting. That means they make their own for the add-on wings?

Have you looked at the Ebay alternative? Or does the wing have to move?

No affiliation with the seller. But this kit is simple to install.
