A roll bar on the street is very dangerous...unless of course you have FIA padding or everyone is wearing a helmet. A small accident can be severe if your head hits the bar...

 

I bet it would fit a 997. You should double check with Vivid.

 

It does fit the 997 but not sure on the cab. Not to threadjack but I have a black one sitting in my garage if anyone is looking for one. PM if interested.

 

btw...nice pictures! What camera do you use? I am guessing not in auto mode.

 

Thanks Ben. Most of the time I shoot with a 5Dmk2. If I have the time to compose a shot, I normally do not use Auto mode.

My turbos are GT3582's with external waste gates. Motor is built with Mckensie heads and GT3 cams (it's a one of a kind build as Proto has not done another one like it). Right now I am running 1.6-1.7 bar as my high boost setting until Proto sends a new tune. The goal eventually, is to run 2 bar on C16. I have 1 bar waste gate springs that actually hold around .8 bar. That level is currently my pump gas setting (600+hp).

 

$50 bucks for a 2 bar ride in Mexico...that might cover half the gas

 

How much air (ft/min) does your turbos make? Alpha 28s are 48 ft/min, 3076s are 60 ft/min...

 

GT3582 = 65 lb/min
GTX3582 = 78 lb/min

GTX came from TiAL's website, but I only could find post on different forums saying 65 out of a GT3582 (it maybe closer to 70).

i found that 65 lb/min too...is that right? I can't imagine they are just 5 lb/min better than alpha 3076s. I might have to pickup a set of alpha 3076s then.
