So it looks like kenwood got it all right for 2012. ive been hesitant togo the aftermarket route as im really sensitive to stuff not looking OEM.

The interesting part IMO is the OBD2 interface. Very interesting indeed. Has anybody done one of these installs (witha similar kenwood)?

I installed one of these units last year with the ecoroute module works well, it can be a bit slow between screens but overall a great unit. I was also able to load custom screens so it says Porsche when it turns on ext

 

yes, I read many report at how pokey the 6980/9980 (2011 models) were. The new ones are purported to be th 3x faster. i watched a product demo and it looked really snappy.

did the eco module pull boost pressure?
