Front passenger seat removal?

Front passenger seat removal?
In my quest to find a suitable location for a 2 way radio, which is about 4x6x2"in size, I figure under the front passenger seat is a possible location.
Any comments on how to remove the passenger seat temporarily while I mount this radio ?
Will unplugging the seat belt connector cause any problems ? I'll have the ignition turned off, but battery will still be connected.
Thanks Tim

Tim;
When I installed my fire extinguisher bracket under the front passenger seat, I removed the 4 torx bolts that hold it down and tilted it back (braced under it so it would not fall forward). That way I did not disconnect any wires.
As I recall, there should be no issue with disconnecting wires as long as the car is OFF and the key is NOT in the ignition.
I tuts that additional replies will confirm.

Tim,
First order of business, REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION AND DON"T RETURN IT UNTIL YOU ARE DONE.
Now, there are four reverse Torx bolts that hold the seat in place. The front two are covered by plastic cover pieces. You can use a flat bladed screwdriver to lift the tab (you will see it on top, it is obvious) and the covers slide forward. The four reverse Torx bolts can be removed with a 10mm socket but exercise care since it isn't a perfect fit.
After removing the bolts, move the seatback forward and then tilt the seat bottom rearward. Unplug the harness by pulling the plug on the side to release the two halves.
Remove the seat being careful not to scratch the center console or the sill.
Installation is the reverse.
Good luck.

The torque spec is 48 foot pounds and there is a bit of thread lock on them.
The proper tool is a torx E12. I can do it with a normal bolt socket but it buggers it up a bit. I have found a 3/8" fits tighter than a metric socket.
