You race with 315/25/19's on

305/30/19 might be the next Option as its under 3% Diffrence (2.79 to be Exact) if you run 235/35/19 in the Front.
Mind you the Ride will be Better too.

not racing on a road course! Doing a runway type race from a roll-on (straight line) I still may switch over to my stockers for a bit less rotating mass. I may look into those sizes as well.
Thanks

I had the same issue - found Falken F452s on eBay. A quick look shows them still available there...

nope, the one ebay vendor that shows "10 available" only updates their inventory once per week. I called them and wouldn't you know it....they're on back order!!!!! F

i got a very gently used set here on the classifieds at 6so. be patient and it'll pay off.

btw...maybe a dumb question, but what's wrong with 315/25/19 at the track? i plan on tracking mine this season. i live in a condo and dont' have the space to keep an extra set of designated r compound track tires/wheels so i'm stuck with burning up my ps2's

I have a set of wheels with PS2's on them. About 85%+ front 235/35 and rear 315/25.
I could take them off for $1200 and sell separately. New was about $1700 on Tirerack.
Just want to try and recover on the set.

The 295 or 305/30/19 idea is not the worst either. Many people run them because choices are the way they are. Hankooks are a great bang for the buck. I really do hope a good 315 becomes avail though.

Well, I went the ebay route. And after searching for 315/25/19, There were seven postings:

1. One selling a single Nitto Invo.
2. Another selling a single Nitto Invo
3. Another one selling a single Falken 452
4. And yet another one selling a single Falken 452

(that's four different people each selling just a single tire)

5. One guy selling two Falken's which I bought but then he refunded the money saying they were out of stock (again?). Kept his listing up and and chaned the price.
6. Someone selling a set of 4 Falkens all this size
7. One person selling two Falkens for $400 each

I took door number seven and just got the notice that they have shipped. So if anyone else is looking, option 7 is off the table but you can buy individual tires from two different sellers or a set of four from another. Thinks are not looking good for this tire size.

I went a similar route...lol. found single off ebay and discount tire came through and found a single tire in texas. Most work i've ever had to do for 2 tires. Ridiculous!!!

This is why I may just stick with 18's on mine. I was also searching for tires and new rims, ran into same issue. I wonder what 20's look like, too ba-donk a-donk?

I had the same problem. 315/25/19 is a better fitment for matching 235/35/19 and in my opinion looks better than a 305/30/19 however in hindsight, I should have purchased 305/30/19. 25 is just too low of a sidewall for great performance. 305/30 offers sport cup tires and some other more track worthy tires. Next time, I'm getting 305/30/19.

Don't go 20's. 18's will always better for performance and cost.
