New turbo owner, I thought I'd introduce myself.

Awesome man, these cars are a blast. The other thing is that nobody around here knows the difference between a 996 and a 997 so you'll look like you spent 100k on your car. What are you getting? I'm planning on going to the autocross on may 5 i think is the date.

I ordered some Forgestar F14's in silver. The twists look ok, kind of a dated look though.

Thanks. Yah there are wide open roads here, I've been driving kinda fast for sure!

Thanks. Did not autocross, but did run it at magic valley speedway in twin. They have a small track with an extra turn in the infield, there are some pics at boisedrift.com Have not done the exhaust yet but plan to in a few months.

Hows the car coming? I've been driving mine in Boise this summer but have not seen any other 996 Turbos. My neighbor has a tricked out 997 Turbo with a bunch of TA stuff on it but that is the only Arctic silver Turbo car I have seen.

Sorry to jump in but, I've seen your neighbor's car (looked great btw), a 996tt cab in blue, a stock silver 996tt, a couple of silver 993t, as well as a bad *** 997GT2 in white. Still haven't seen either of you guys though. What part of town are ya?

Just been collecting bits and pieces for the conversion. Planning on doing it this winter as I am really enjoying the car at the moment. I have 18g's injectors and a durametric so far. Im in south nampa so i dont make it to boise very often. Maybe we should organize a bogus run or something? Planning on auto x in mountain home for next week sat possibly.
