What's up man. You ever drive in Nampa behind Lake Lowell? I've seen a silver 996tt there before. Any plans for your car?

I've driven back there, but not in this car. I've been driving it as much as I can this winter which still isn't enough. I'm not going to go too crazy with car. I'm looking to get a tune and suspension work, maybe an exhaust done this summer, other than that just some personal touches. I'd like to head to Miller for a track day or two as well. How about yourself?

I'm planning on going with the billit turbo setup in a while, but just doing one thing at a time for now. My car has 50k and needs a bit of restoration, so I am repainting the the calipers and wheels as well as putting new front rotors and pads on. I'm going to build my own exhaust this summer sometime, no way I'm paying 3000 for something I can build for 600. I have a welder and all the tools. Planning on trying some autocross stuff with the SCCA club around here and then am going to try a few passes at the drag strip to see how it does. I'd be up for going to a track in Oregon or Utah sometime, that would be awesome.

Looks like we share the same thoughts. I'm very much into doing everything I can myself. I'll be putting in new diverters shortly. I see you're refinishing the wheels and brakes yourself, I'd love to check it out when you're done. I've been looking at redoing my wheels body color, and getting rid of the po's curbing.

Cool, I'll let you know when it's done. If it looks bad, it only cost me 90 dollars to get all of it sand blasted, so no big deal. Next I'm going to do spark plugs and I'm going to leak down test the cylinders to see if I've got a good car. I'm also going to pressure test it for boost leaks. My understanding of the DV's is that the stock ones are fine so long as they are not leaking.

Sounds good, I'm sure they'll look great. I'd also like to do a boost leak test, judging by what others have found you just never know. One of my dv's was replaced in August, the other is now leaking. I'm just going with 710n's, great rep, and cheap.

I'll have to check mine for leaks. If you're interested in the SSR rims I have I'll sell them to you for 800. Nice 3 piece wheels, just need some refinishing.

Thanks for the offer, nice looking wheels for sure. I'm going to stick with the twists though, just bought new tires and don't really want to go to 19's.
