Anyone using an Infinity BassLink Subwoofer?

I am going to leave the factory system alone for now but hate the bass response.

The guy at Crutchfield suggested I look into the bass link as a possible option. Built in Class D amp and 10" woofer. It will most likely go in the trunk.

Any thoughts or other ideas?

Thanks.

If your car is '03 or newer, I think you'll have trouble as its MOST system is fiber optic.

My son has one in his R32. It's a great SW and very easy to install. You can probably tap into the front R & L speaker leads for the signal. I don't think they are fiber. It also has line input, but that won't work if your car is MOST fiber.

The Basslink really is a good SW...highly recommend it. It isn't for ghetto-bass, license-plate vibrating powerful, more for fidelity, depth and audiophile use.

I have heard it in other cars and liked it.

I have an 01 996TT with the digital? sound system. I will talk to some audio shops to see how they recommend it be wired.

I have one in my boat and I love it. Actually, it has pretty good sound...better than I expected. It is pretty big though. I can't imagine where I'd put it in my 996TT.
