Our closest direct distributor to you is Hesco in Birmingham Alabama. Jeff Lemaster there is a great guy to work with. We have done a few 996TT upgrades with him in the past. He has the ability to flash GIAC there as well. Give him a call 205-251-1472 he will take care of you.

DMW: Would be glad to hook up with you in Atlanta. I am in the Full-Service Car Wash business (Automotive Beautician) and you can usually find me at Car-Nutz on Spring Rd. in Smyrna.
Craig: Since I had the motor apart and I am not sure if this is where I will stop HP wise, I decided to go ahead and upgrade my pistons. This car will see a lot track days, so I am taking some extra precautions for longevity and durability.

Marc996Miami: Unfortunately, I am one of those people who has become addicted to large amounts of HP and the Adrenaline it produces. I built a 1972 Datsun 240Z that made 522RWHP from a 2.8L motor and its all been down hill since then. If my car can't run with and walk away from Sport Bikes then I am not happy. I bought the GT2 in December 2004, and by January it was already in Stage IV mode (502RWHP 503RWTQ) which was extremely satisfying for a couple of months...now I need more! I am not a professional driver by any means, but I do have about 7 years of SCCA road racing experience in ITS and GT classes. The GT2 is a great car from the factory, but there is always room for improvement. The coilover suspension from the factory is nice and very adjustable for a street car, however it can be much improved with the addition of Moton or JRZ adjustable shocks and much heavier springs for track duty. The GT2 catches a lot of flack for being hard to drive fast and this is simply not true. Like any high powered car, it must be respected and driven smoothly. I have taken the car to Roebling Road in Savannah, GA, Little Talladega in Anniston, AL, and Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham and enjoyed it immensley. A proper alignment is key to making these cars handle well and it also helps to get your braking done early. Oh yeah, it's all a waste of money...but it's MY money!
