Anyone here own Diablo 6.0
Curious how you like it and how it compares to the tt. I would like to get one someday as an addition to my tt. I have always loved Diablo's and I think the 6.0 is the best Diablo.

I have driven a 6.0 and I must say my left leg was sore after...definalty a very involving car. Also Im 6'3 260 so you could imagine that my *** would not fit into the seat...other than that the car has more torque than the average person knows what to do with. This car had about 75k worth of engine work done to it from All Bertone Lambo, and I must say that I kept it in 6th gear around town and the thing pulled like a frieght train..

The 6.0 is the most sought after and covited Diablo...period. If you can find a clean/low milage car...expect to pay close to 200K for it. Can't say that for anyother Diablo. The GTR's are not street legal and a few have been yanked off the street and shipped out of the country.

That would be a frustrating traffic stop, imagine being pulled for doing the speed limit and the cop saying "Sir is that a GTR?" "umm, yeah.." "Ok well its not street legal, so long!"

I've owned both...had a 2003 996TT and currently have a 2001 Diablo 6.0VT. Check out my site, www.moviecarz.com for details.
In summary, the Diablo is definitely the "flashier" of the two. People drool and want their picture taken with it. It's fun to drive, pulls strongly at high speeds, but when it comes to creature comforts, the TT has it beat for sure.
I've had the TT on the track, and it was a handful but predictable and fast. The Diablo feels heavier, feel harder to turn, has more initial understeer.
So, if I had to live with one or the other, the TT would be my choice. If I wanted something flashy and fun, the Diablo is a good choice.
In short, there are better "driver's cars"....this car, while capable and fast, is what it is. The TT can be turned into a whole other animal.

I HAD A VT ROADSTER FOR ONE YEAR.
VERY FUN- but not reliable. awesome at speeds above 150 mph- that I cant say for stock TTs.
I actually did 200 mph and let the steering wheel go.. thats how stable that car is.

As for the 6.0 being most desirable, i dont know about that, Id say the SE, SV, and 6.0 are most desirable. The SE and Sv are known as the drivers Diablos, although the SE, is lighter than the SV, it doesnt have windows that roll down, small brakes etc. The 6.0 is heavy, but has all the creature comforts, and its interior is the best. The SV combines some of the best aspects of the 6.0 and SE, plus the SV is rare.
If you want the best Diablo get the Diablo GT, but they are very difficult to get and very expensive 300-350k.
