The silver 3 spoke air bag crest was used on the 2000 Boxster S for the Millineum, then it went colored in 2001.
PM if you have a black vinyl 3 spoke air bag with a colored crest and you want to swap with one of our local Boxster owners who has a silver crest.

The one with the stiching is leather, not vinyl. That is why I said vinyl so it would be a straight swap.

I GUESS I got lucky onmine.. or maybe it's really discolored really bad lol
mine is a silver crest but it has the red stripes and black stipes also.. not totatly black & silver, it has red ,, but no gold whatsoever..
i looked at my uncles 02 996 and his was GOLD!
here'sa pic.. my car is an 02 TT also...
