Best bang for the buck 19" wheels?

Looking for something light, decent looking, and not too expensive. Anyone got suggestions?

The Porsche-specific Forgestars would probably be a good place to start.

Otherwise, honestly, maybe just watch the classifieds here like a hawk - you frequently see 996/7 WB 19's come up for sale, somewhere around 50% of new MSRP.

Then my next favorite cheap wheel is a HRE.

Huh?

Nothing "cheap" about HRE's, price or otherwise.

Yes this is definitely the cheapest source for strong, relatively lightweight, inexpensive wheels.

Stick with a good set of 18". The car doesn't handle as well with 19" and they are heavier. Tires are more expensive and your brakes and suspension wear out faster.

+1

The lightest concave wheels available in the $1,000 range with proper aggressive offsets.
