Does lowering springs only= alignment required?

All-
Advice....I don't want to go with Coilovers, just some basic Eibach lowering springs for my 03TT to close some wheel well gap. So, after R&R, is it required to realign, or set anything, or is this just a plug and play project?
Thanks!

What he said.

Lower the car and your alignment needs resetting.

Yes, you'll need an alignment.
Get the car aligned to GT-2 spec (more neg camber all around, it will give better steering feel, handling, and will further reduce the LOOK of wheel gap)

you should definetly get the car realigned for different ride height. i have GT2 spec allignment and it feels great, but i would recommend skipping it if you mainly street drive your car. it will just eat the tires much faster.
