Tonight's car meeting - Stockholm Sweden

There were more Porsches there than these pictures tell.
A lot of 993/996 Turbos and GT3s. Anyway...

A lot of red Vipers...

A Morgan

A nice place to relax. When it's warmer. At least it wasn't raining...

Nice mixture of cars

See you next Thursday at Ost 100 http://www.ost100.com/

BAD ASH is infamous around these parts
Great Pictrures, I'm surprised by the Number of Vipers. Nice to see some Maseratis, too bad there are not too many here in the U.S.

Growing up in Stockholm, I was told by one of my moms attorneys that Stockholm is the worlds "porsche tataste stad" most porsche prolific city. I assume that meant per capita. Does this still hold water? That guy was so cocky driving his red carrera. And I was a duly impressed pimple faced 13 year old. I would love to meat that guy now and compare notes.

That's about 12.5% of the total amount of Vipers in Sweden

If you wanted to know

I don't think so anymore. But yes, Stockholm had most Porsches per capita during the happy days in the 80s.

There's about 300-350 Porsche sold new in Sweden every year.

Isn't the tax on cars something like 1,000,000% in Sweden?

Also, might the high # of Vipers have to do with the weakness of the US$ against most European currencies?

No I think the tax for cars are 25%.. I'm just a 19yr old kid, someone older/wiser can probably confirm it or tell you the right number.
