Anyone running 315 R888s on 12 inch rim?

No street approved tires in Europe can compete against the MPSC when it's perfect conditions!
My car is built for track use only with a lot of modifications: Ohlins racing chasie CUP and RSR wishbones CUP diff and flywheel EVOMS K24 ...
I was at the Nurburgring, a month ago and I had problems with wheelspin in certain high speed corners +200 Km/h with 315 Toyo ...
I changed to 335 and got rid of that problem completely :-)
The higher profile made them unreliable in the sideways movement of the extremely high speed + 250km/h it can get better when I have had a few heat cycles in the tires.
I run 245/40-18 in the front to get to the roller circumference fairly correct.
I know that 265/35-18 will fit in the front but I think it was tight with 245/40!

It is true but remember that the GT2 has rolled back and front fenders from the factory!

You have a regular turbo not a gt2?
It is lowered?
With your help I my be able to narrow it down to what offsets I am going to order.

Standard gt2 offset is et45 with 12" and 315 from the factory, so that will work no problem. That is what I have always run with either mpsc or r888
Cheers

Thanks for the info but that is for GT2 with rolled fenders
I think LiNKs has a regular turbo. If he is running gt2 offsets and R888s/315 successfully I'm in

Lowered about an Inch with PSS10's
Plug in 2004 GT2 on Tire Rack's wheel selector and go to OZ wheels and the specs are there.

Thanks for the info, we are getting close. We know from your set up the GT2 spec wheels will fit a lowered turbo with Michelin 315s.
I would like to make sure the same set up will work with 315 R888

THEY FIT !!!
Just installed the rears as the fronts are back ordered. They fit with no problems at all. The wheels are the GT2 size and the tires are 315/18/R88s.
I had plenty of room on the inside, even with larger intercoolers and hoses.
I was prepared to roll the fenders but did not have to. I took the car for a test ride down some very rough roads with no rubbing at all.
The paper work from OZ even says they will fit the turbo with no mods.

I have also run with MPSC earlier before they closed down the production of tires for "old" cars ...

Your cars sounds really sorted and how my car will be one day.
Do you go to the nordschleife a lot? Just wondered what alignment settings you run.
Cheers in advance
