Anyone running 315 R888s on 12 inch rim?

I am considering a set of OZ rims. They only have 10 or 12 inch in 18s
I want to keep my 315 R888s, maybe go to 335s when they wear out.
Toyo says up to an 11.5 inch rim for the 315. I am thinking 12 might be doable.

Anyone successfully running this size?

Yes it's fine.
996 gt2 runs 315's on 12" rims as standard.
I have toyo r888 on mine with no problems.
I am also thinking of moving to 335 next.
Cheers

The 315 R888 is wider than the Michelins and other similar street tires in the same size, but they fit no problem on my GT2's 18 x 12 factory wheels. The sidewall sits flush with the wheel face, whereas other tires in this size will appear slighly stretched on a 12" wheel.

Big tire! I have run them on 12" as well (CCW's) with great results. 255/35/18 on front 9.5". The 335's are too big for the wheel and car IMO but I have run the Hoosier 335's on a 12 fine.

Did you have to use any spacers or did they bolt right up?

315 on a 12" will work just fine.

Hi what offset do you run and do you use a spacer?
Reason I ask is my 315 tyre with standard gt2 rim it's close to the boost pipe now, I have 2.4 camber, but there is plenty of room near the arch lip it's the inside that's tight
Cheers

Yes its touching the pipe on the drivers side.
I have the 997.2 intercoolers and i modified it a bit too get room.
I thinking off maybe a 3 mm spacer...
Or 3mm offset if you are bying new wheels.
Its realy close on the outside too!
The r888 in 335 are 2.5 cm thicker than a michelin 315.

No spacers,I had to do some homework tho...Tire Rack sells them in TT and GT2 offsets. I determined that the GT2 offsets were the ones i needed for 315 and 235. They fit perfect with Mich 315's and 235s. No rubbing and flush.

Thanks for the information, when I need tyres next I will get 335/265.
I'm getting 997gt2rs intercoolers so can modify them to make the tyres fit at the same time, did you find them better over 315 on track?
I have always run mpsc but now no 315 anymore.

996 gt2 and turbo rear wheels have the same offset,et 45, it's just that the gt2 wheels are 12" and turbo wheels are 11"
Cheers
