Gotya, I'm making about 650hp so that makes sense.

Blouch told me over the phone that they won't even quote an outside person a price unless they go through EPL or Protomotive to get the upgrade. Apparently they have a agreement with Proto & EPL "only" for the "g" upgrades.

I sent Blouch some 24/18's to upgrade & Todd from Protomotive instructed Blouch what to do to the 20g's. That upgrade was $2350 for both.

2350$ With Proto markup?

Greg (greekc6) bought my K24s from me a year ago and we sent them out to Blouch direct and they were made into billet 18G-XTs with 1bar wastegates for 1400$ and change for the pair. At that time the 20G upgrade was the same price. Now turbine clips and porting (sometimes referred to as "special magic" here) are extra 100-150$ I believe. Blouch is only a 2hr drive from me and I've actually been to their shop and met Mike (the man behind the creations). I considered an 18G-XT on my car but passed on it.

A few of my PCA friends got theres straight from them this year...And I have talked to them about doing an upgrade to them at some time and Mike did not tell me that..

What can I say, Mike is the one I spoke to matter of fact, he stated that if I wanted to do the 18/20g upgrade, i'd need to go through EPL/Proto to get one of there tuning packages which includes the billet k24 upgrade in order to get the billet upgrade done...he said he doesn't deal directly w/the public.

Thats amazing if he just decided to do this...I would think he is hurting himself?
By any chance you didnt ask him for a tune also because thats why he would say get a package from them?..But I know in the past EPL didnt do any tunes for K24/20's...
Scott from Softronics once told me the tunes for the two are pretty similar for 18s and 20s.??
