Now we just need one for these stupid coolant lines. I'm sure more cars were affected by IMS, but I hope they lay the wood to Porsche for not supporting their products.

Sorry to revive old thread. I just want to confirm, 996tt and 997tt are NOT affected by IMS failure?

They are not immuned to it, but it's extremely rare. Not worth worrying about. Worry about your coolant lines.
