You can add me to that list. A crossflow x-pipe post-turbine is nonsense from a flow standpoint (and I wouldn't call Tim's creation here a crossflow design). The reason they're quieter is because you're losing exhaust energy when you slam the banks into each other and force the flow around an extremely tight cheater bend -this has inherent sound damping. I understand sound is important, by why do so few manufacturers post backpressure at the turbine exit to isolate what the exhaust is actually doing?
