New location to hang turbos in
#151
I got to thinking about the 6262 comment too, those turbos on a 3.6l wouldn't spool until ~5,500 RPM, holy crap! That is going to be a small powerband, but would be capable of 1,400whp or so. Sounds like one crazy *** ride if you can get it to hook half ways decent. Can't wait to see more!

Those turbo's are quite a bit smaller than a 6262 though. I just think going up to the 6262's would be nuts, the 5857's are already huge! More power to him though, it will be fun to watch!

Yes. It is. I am logging all that. My motec dash has a sample rate of 500 times a second. My heads flow 50cfm over my ported turbo heads and my cams are bigger. I get more time to move my 50cfm larger head per cycle. easy. I am raising base to 60psi today and will do some pulls. Oh how I heat doing pulls...

Timing, fuel (E85), and flow rate. CC's is max volume at absolute being moved, not boosted. Or I can spray NOS like some others or throw some nitro in the mix..

whats fuel pressure measured in there?

Base pressure should be 55-60psi also your regulator should go 1:1 with each pound of boost. We made 1150rwhp on 2 different dyno's same size injectors on c85, injectors were no where near max out. Also to keep it from spinning keep tires at 25psi and drive 2 miles in 6th gear before the pull.

Thanks. reg does exactly that.

I'd suggest looking for issues for being maxed out. At 8000 RPM on E85 on the pulls I made 1040rwhp with I was at 69% duty cycle with the regulator setup like Matt's. Unlike any in this thread besides you I actually can see what our Pulsewidth so math is simple to do. We run the same fuel, pump, but different injector but I don't see how the ID2000 is much different then the FIC 2150's. Congrats on getting her running and already on the dyno!

Thanks.. It was a long road.. I had two tuners in the car and flew up a motec engineer. All said the same thing. Add 6 more injectors if you want to add more boost..
