the op stated the cause was a braided line that ruptured the fuel filter causing a lean condition which popped the motor. most likely just an unfortunate accident that reared its head at a terrible time. doubt it was a build issue at all.
i would guess his anger at the situation has kept him off the thread .

I received an e-mail this afternoon from the OP. I should be getting a response once his vehicle is diagnosed. I am not giving out any other info now for privacy reasons.

I know the OP personally, he lives by me in FLA and is one of the nicest most genuine guy's you will ever meet..

I feel so sorry for his case right now, I warned him about these highly modded car's , and the unfortunate happened SOONER, rather than later

J, I hope it all get's sorted to some degree...

Ok so I spoke to Jason the buyer tonight and as per his request. I am going to leave the thread open and keep an eye on it. This is a situation that he hopes will be resolved soon. I hope that this sort of thing does not happen but when it does that is what 6apeed is for "help"

Again let's hope this becomes resolved soon.

Hello All. Sorry for the delays. My computer seems to be acting up and I couldn't seem to access the actual thread, only the "private messages" which I can't respond to since I have only "8" posts. Not 15.

Long story short, I really appreciate everyone's feedback. I'm not a flake, just have a computer that is giving me a headache. Long story short, car is being shipped to Prototech in FL. Get the engine taken apart down there and try to figure out what the damage is and pray that things get resolved in a reasonable manner.

Thanks again.
Jason

Hi there. Seems to be working now. Again, I really want to thanks everyone who chimed in, especially those who went out of the way and offered telephone numbers and addresses of reputable shops in the MI area, legal advice, etc, etc . I really appreciate it, especially since I know people are busy with the holiday weekend.

Happy belated Fourth of July.

Cheers,
Jason

One Last Thing. I'm down on Pompano Beach (on the beach), about 5 miles from Champion Porsche, a few hours from Homestead and Sebring, so if anyone ends up in this part of the country for car stuff (and presuming your not a serial killer or anything like that), give me a holler for a place to crash, recs on restaurants, mechanics, etc, etc.
