Sean, You are absolutely correct. Eric and I have discussed this many times. He has the fastest GT2 at the Mile (stock motor) and said it took most of the runway (width) to do it. My (any) 996TT with factory aero was perfectly stable at 200 mph other than that Porsche wiggle at 165 or so.

The wiggle is at 180 ..i guess the gt2 don't like the 200 barrier.

Bht...who is this Mullet guy?

EVOMS and I are going to try and hit the Shift sector event next month! It's a half mile side by side event! Looks cool! We shall see what it does on the top end! Wish us LUCK!!
Congrats, Stacy, on taking one of the UR Lambos down...that does not happen very often.

Approx numbers: 300ft of ramp up and pacing, then 1500ft of racing, then 1500ft of shut down.

Stacy - the previous owner of your car spent a lot of time setting your car up properly.

To be fair I had driven my GT2 for the first time the week before at TX2k and I don't think I broke 160-170 that weekend. The mile was probably not the best way for me to learn the car and it capabilities.

Previous owner of my car had taken all of the negative camber out of the rear and had the ride height set front to back so car would sit on rear tires.

I believe with proper corner balance, alignment, proper ride height from front to back to give car proper rake plus upgraded engine/tranny mounts you can take most of the 'hairiness' out of the GT2.

Thanks for reminding me. Above 180 the front end was really light. The 200+ run just before the 206 the wind was at just the right angle and the car was perfectly straight the whole way down. Wind shifted on the last run and car was wondering about three lanes at the big end.

Probably one of the best photo galleries I have seen from the event so far. I think all of the Porsches from 6 Speed are in there:
