Durametric Log / Calculate AFR and Duty Cicle - High Values

Hi,

After install the new air intake my tuner did some mods in the software.

I did a log with durametric during some gears (3/4/5/6) and next I calculated the AFR and Duty Cicle

Formulas used:

AFR = Oxygen sensing bank 1 Lambda Value x 14.7

Duty Cicle = (injector time)*(RPM)/1200

Some times the AFR is 5 and duty cicle much more than 100%.

Please can you help me understand these values.

Not a surprise, with your mods you're well past due for injectors. The 5 bar isn't adequate. The lambda will go to 5 when you let off the throttle. this is normal.

earl3,

With the actual log values my engine is in danger?

If I replace the socks injectors to another's with more capacity, I should stay with 5 bar?

With bigger injectors I have to retune the car?

How about the duty cycle, at the log we can see 5 times values up to 100% (108%; 114%; 115%, 117% and 148% ).

Thanks,
VS

RS38 has a spectacular aura aboutRS38 has a spectacular aura about
you should reduce the recorded values to gain sampling speed.
it looks a bit weird.
setpoint boots always lower than actual??

Should I reduce the wastegate open point (actual 14PSI) to 12 PSI to try equal or reduce the gap between the setpoint boost to actual boost?

if your setpoint is lower then actual, gates are too tight, that will cause the limp mode issues you have been having.

But some times I have the setpoint higher than the actual pressure.

It´s normal have differences between these values.

Please, see my log and tell me if my engine is in danger.

Thanks,

your AFR's scare me. On the first run at max load your afr's are very high. Then on the high rpm run, they are high as well, but are also all over the place. Definitely either injector/fpr issue or tuning issue or both. I think your lambda should be around .83 or less for safety sake.
